Spent hops contain phytoestrogens, the most potent of which is hailed as a groundbreaking discovery. Additionally, hops extracts show tremendous promise in combating bacterial and fungal infections, such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and Fusarium species, which could be game-changing in the treatment of infectious diseases.
